Positive: The location was good, and the property was private. The house was spacious. Negative: The property was not clean upon our arrival. We found trash in the living room, hair from a previous occupant in the shower drain, and dead bugs on the kitchen counter. Some of the amenities listed were not available - the listing said a dryer would be available but when we arrived there was a sign saying it was broken. I understand things happen but some communication ahead of time would have been helpful. When we reached out about our concerns, the property management team was initially apologetic and offered a partial refund. Upon leaving, I followed up to check the status of the refund - no one replied. I contacted booking.com who told me no one from the property management had contacted them about a refund. The property manager then responded saying that the property had been cleaned properly and he did not understand what I was talking about. He was rude and dismissive in his response. I offered to send photos but he never responded. As such, they have been included with my review. I highly recommend avoiding this property and any property managed by the Twizel Getaways Ltd.

The location is great and we would stay again. Positive: The views were incredible especially with all the huge windows. The house was situated to draw all your attention to the snow capped mountains Negative: The bathroom trash hadn’t been emptied and some of accessory furniture was poorly put together. The top of the night table came off when I picked it up.
