The Pink Room- Maryburn Magic

Positive: very comfortable bed, and the kitchen and living area were well appointed. Outside sitting area was private. Negative: The bathroom. It was very big with plenty of rails for anyone disabled, BUT the washbasin was very small, like you would squeeze into a downstairs loo. There was no shelf to put toiletries or shaving gear on, we had to bring the small table from outside and clean it to put everything on. There was no other mirror other than the one in the bathroom. It would be very simple for the owner to put a shelf in the bathroom, and a mirror in the bedroom, which , at little cost would make the situation much easier.

Negative: If an additional layer/mattress could be provided for the sofa bed it would have been a lot more comfortable - I could feel the springs through the thin mattress, otherwise the bed was great.

El apartamento está detrás de una casa, sin vistas. La cocina no estaba lo suficientemente limpia; en otros alojamientos en Nueva Zelanda estaban las cocinas impecables. Sobre todo la vitrocerámica no estaba limpia. En la reserva de la habitación te cargan un plus por limpieza, y no la encontramos como hubiéramos deseado. Eran dos noches y la basura no se la llevaron, estaba sin vaciar cuando regresamos la segunda noche

See above Positive: Convenient to Mt Cook; Spacious Negative: When we arrived dead flies littered the floor, some still alive; no where to put toiletries in the bathroom. We realized it was a disabled room but there was more than ample space to provide a small vanity, etc.; no directions as to how to use the washing and dryer, probably confused due to differences in the states. We will take that hit.

Positive: Man ist für sich und hat seine Ruhe. Negative: Das Preisleistubgsverhältniss hat nicht gepasst. Die Unterkunft war einfach viel zu teuer.
